Portal Integration
All existing in-house Web portals can be integrated into the overall functional spectrum in ELO without any difficulty. In this way, it is very easy to integrate individual ELO Web parts depending on the portal interface. All relevant ELO functions are available in these (search, display, archive, check-in, check-out, versioning, workflow, and much more).

ELO + portals = the best of both worlds
ELO allocates each individual function in the form of services for this. In this way, existing environments can be extended to include powerful document management and archiving functions. In addition to this, a system link can be created to corporate applications such as CAD, ERP and CRM which have an interface to the ELO system but not to the portal. ELO acts as a middleware in this instance, passing on documents and data.

Overview from the central knowledge platform
This means that by using the ELO Web service in the portal:
- An employee can access information from the ERP, CAD or, for example, CRM system without having to have the respective applications installed.
- By integrating ELO into the in-house portal, ELO can function as a central repository for all of the company’s data.
- Thus, the knowledge is available to the users both centrally and transparently at the press of a button.
