ELeCT - introduction

ELeCT, short for Electronic Lexicon of Communication Terminology, provides efficient access to multilingual terminology within the fields of Public Relations, Advertising, Media, Journalism, Printing & Related Trades.

The multilingual lexicon data are compiled from various research sources and regularly updated. At present, the ELeCT terminology covers 7 European languages: Dutch (NL), English (EN), French (FR), German (DE), Hungarian (HU), Russian (RU) and Spanish (ES). The lexicon content has been maintained since 1990 and now contains over 800 entries. The last update (17-11-2007) has added Hungarian equivalents as well as hundreds of new entries.

Along with the up-to-date terminology database, the ELeCT 3.0 lexicon provides high-performance extensive search features : alphabetic search, substring search, and fuzzy search

ELeCT 3.0 new features also include video guides for software installation and use.
